We explore the concept of healer’s high, a phenomenon similar to runner’s high. define high as psycho-endocrine response intense happiness and bliss, accompanied by feeling enhanced energy, experienced health care professionals when they heal or help someone. describe endocrinology that underlies posit this may be used enhance professional satisfaction, mitigate compassion fatigue burnout.
